A contract with an emergency homemaker must include:
• emergency in-home child care;
• household maintenance to meet the needs of a child; for example, cooking and cleaning;
• on call services, made available 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
• participating in staffings for case planning; and
• appearing in court to provide testimony when needed.
Note: Emergency homemaker services do not include medical or nursing care.
