You will receive the Placement Summary. This form tells you about: 

  • The child’s school and educational needs. 
  • The child’s medical, dental, and mental health history. 
  • The child’s social and family information. 
  • Other information that will help you meet the child’s needs. You will receive a copy of the child’s current service plan and any service plan reviews, which are usually held at least once every six months. 

You will also receive a copy of the DFPS report to the court at least 10 days before any scheduled court reviews.
