A worker may authorize diagnostic consultation to obtain advice, recommendations, and opinions about an open CPS case from professionals outside of DFPS.

Diagnostic consultation may be purchased separately, or as a part of another direct service, such as Evaluation and Treatment, or Homemaker services.

Note: Diagnostic consultation is not to be used to purchase staff training. See:
