Specifically, the section covers extended jurisdiction under Chapter 263External Link of the Texas Family Code for young adults who:

  •   are in extended foster care;

  •   have left foster care and are on trial independence;

  •   are receiving transitional living services, or

  •   are waiting for the results of a referral to HHSC for guardianship.
